It’s good to be #1

I believe I briefly alluded to my trip to Puerto Rico last month, but failed to follow up with charming tales of Old San Juan. Regardless. The most lasting legacy of that brief weekend of warmth seems to be my newfound google power on this most prurient of search terms, thanks to my last PR POTD.

All I really want, of course, is for the world and google to acknowledge the world’s cutest husky. Simple really. And infinitely less skeevy.

Life on the small screen

The IT guys at work have blocked NCAA streaming.I'm totally paying attention to what she's saying.Apparently I don't get 'TruTV".

Southwest region, FTW

KU and BU, the only two universities from which I’ve graduated, are playing in the first round of the NCAA tournament. It should be a typical 1 v 16 blowout, sure, but as a committed Kansas fan it’s incredibly risky on the historic chance we blow it – I literally will never be able to wear a KU shirt anywhere in Boston ever again. At any rate, here’s my pool. We’ll be playing for money this year, a sliding scale variable entry pool, suggested range of $5 to $20. Hopefully the infographic below helps explain things. Email if things are confusing.

ps. Pro-tip? Don’t pick Alabama State.

Subway surprise!

Subway surprise!

Check who I ran into on the subway today! Just projecting here a bit but this chance encounter is probably gonna be the highlight of my week. That and/or seeing the 7 foot tranny heading past on his way to tonight’s lady gaga show.

Anyway, today is my adopted nameday (ZOLTAN!). Boldog nevnapot to me yo. Feel free to leave laudatory comments below.

ps. For reasons unclear*, this post is very popular across the internets today. Maybe we should migrate this whole site into a seasonally appropriate recipe blog.

*Technically clear. Happy Mardi Gras y’all.

Biutifully

I just finally used the last of the Fandango Groupons (thanks SJH!) to see The Fighter pre-Oscars, and here comes Living Social with a similar deal – $9 for two tickets. This’ll be all over facebook today I’m sure but if you use my link rest assured that I’ll use the resulting tickets to see Biutiful, not Drive Angry 3D. Biutiful lost out to In a Better World for best foreign film, but the latter isn’t playing anywhere around here. Anyway, $9, two tickets, it’s cash money.
