Two sets of pictures today - the first is of some feathered Mardi Gras masks from SJH’s birthday party today. As we were getting things together before the baby nieces got here the late afternoon sun was coming through my western windows and was striking a vase of masks in a remarkable way. None of these photos were adjusted for color or luminosity in any way.

The second set consists of a few pictures from our king cake experiment, which, I have to say, came out great (thanks entirely to the efforts of CNSMHB). Per my particular and peculiar failings, the video is considerably better than these pictures and will likely be deconstructed at some point.
