Craig Swann of Crash!Media spoke at CyberArts opening session tonight. The talk itself was engaging, full of bizarro idioms (’Poop on your Oop?’), some fascinating time-altered video effects and real-time pattern recognition. Craig also has interesting ideas about how to feed analog movements into flash without obvious computer interfaces (’userfaces’).
I tried and failed to find some of Craig’s embeddable media, but here’s a eminently watchable video of his on InspireMe.tv. This is pretty much a perfect implementation of the still frame technique David Tamés was talking about.
