It’s been a long and interesting sports day in Boston. The Patriots are still undefeated, the Sox obliterated the Indians on their way to winning the ALCS. The highlight for me though was randomly running into Dave Gabel at the Head of the Charles, and learning that he won the Master Men’s Singles with a time of 18:40. Congratulations to Dave, the Old Glory Boat Club and the rest of the KU Crew alumni still rowing around the world.
I only wish I had had my best girl Maija with me to meet his old dog Sadie. It made me doubly happy that she’s still alive and looking well.
