Today is 7/13 – we are exactly one month away from New Nephew Monday! Also, two months away from my birthday, which is not particularly relevant, except in it makes the point I friggin love the 13th.
That may serve to explain why I was excited to get an email about a $13 discount to the Providence Half Marathon. At least, I was until I clicked through to find out that bastard costs $105!! For a half! Ridiculous.
Relatedly, the BAA 1/2 registration opens (and closes) next Wednesday morning the 18th, at 10am. Assuming I can get in, it will be my 6th time round with this race.
