Better late than never I always say! Here's my breakdown:

favorite song I'd never heard - Compromise by Edie Carey off Be An Optimist Instead

CD with the most of my "favorite song by this artist" songs on it - Greetings From NH (NH=New Hampshire), with Good Boy by BNL, Raspberry Beret by Prince, Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes, Walk On by U2, and Days Like This by Van Morrison

best song that I hadn't heard in forever that reminds me of a happier time (TIE) - 59th Street Bridge Song by Simon & Garfunkel off Be An Optimist Instead and Take Me Home, Country Road by John Denver off Workin' It.

best original song/cover pairing - Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd and Wyclef Jean off Workin' It.

best Kickball team in the history of the world - KitShickers!

I feel like I have more to say, but I think I'd just be listing songs I liked - Little Plastic Castle by Ani off Danger - Do Not Approach, Handle With Care by Jenny Lewis off Julie & Vihann's, Baby Love by Kate Nash off B-A-B-Y spells Baby, and more....

and lastly, I guess my vote for best CD is "Be An Optimist Instead", in fact just yesterday I dug around looking for it because I wanted to listen to it in my car.

Thanks for organizing this NH, and thanks to everyone for participating, this was awesome-fun!
