Today’s a flat black kind of day. Some grays and gray-browns are acceptable. Today all emotions will be restricted to a very small range (+/- 0.5 stdev) of the norm. Non-caffiene related chemicals will not be consumed. Smiling will be kept to a minimum. Reaction times, thoughtfully modulated (no emergencies are predicted and should one arrive, it will be dealt with poorly). Displays of affection are completely out of the question, though kindness through silence will be allowed.
