Craig Swann of Crash!Media spoke at CyberArts opening session tonight. The talk itself was engaging, full of bizarro idioms (’Poop on your Oop?’), some fascinating time-altered video effects and real-time pattern recognition. Craig also has interesting ideas about how to feed analog movements into flash without obvious computer interfaces (’userfaces’).

I’ve been lurking on the Boston Flash Platform Users Group mailing list for a few months. Their next meeting is this Wednesday (4/25/07), and corresponds to the opening session of the Boston CyberArts Festival 2007.

This really isn’t worth watching; just some shape morphing. AZ said she didn’t like the green circle in the opening scene, said that it was ‘inorganic’. I say anything green is by definition organic.
