I was for real in total seriousness trying to stay focused in lab meeting this afternoon. But the lights on the conference room table were mesmerizing to the point of distraction. I have the attention span of a moth. As previously… The Hachiko entrance of Shibuya Station from a recent day & night in Tokyo. The main static set piece here is time-lapse footage shot from a massive Starbucks (that somehow only serves tall drinks) overlooking of one of the most crowded intersections I’ve ever seen. I do not have a drum or drum set of any sort nor do I know how to drum. I do however have more drum sticks than I know what to do with. Don’t ask me man I just hang out around here. In honor of today’s NYC marathon I put together something from one of my other most favorite fall sports event, the Head of the Charles. Dave and Sadie make it in briefly. This is an extension of the editing technique I used for Bunnyslope last year. The audio track is a instrumental interlude from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. A pretty nice little lunch break. Good job with that whole World Series thing guys. Better than disgusto quote-unquote tacos, yet another parade or even Harvard streakers, it’s our special commemorative World Series edition of Deconstructing Dinner. Mad props to the female half of my krewe, Steven & Bonita too. An ode to summer psychedelics. As with 66, shot entirely with my cell phone. Happy birthday critter! Music by Super Furry Animals, off Phantom Power. After watching something David Tamés shot the other day, I spent the afternoon playing with a series of 10.1MP still images from a Canon XTi. I used BIMP Lite v1.62 to batch reduce the images to a reasonable size, edited in Avid Liquid. The audio track is the intro/outro from 23 byBlonde Redhead (via Shameless Complacency). Here’s this month’s entry to Coolidge Corner’s Open Screen. Google video is choking on my upload so I’m trying out blip.tv. Tonight, open screen at Coolidge Corner. My current entry is on evilmorsel, or below. I shot this over the course of a month with my cell phone camera. I went up to Thetford, VT over the long weekend. I hadn’t been up in this area since I was five or six, when we lived in East Thetford. There’s a great resource up there – the Dartmouth Skiway. A day pass is currently only $20 – half a day for $15. This is ridiculously cheap compared to any other mountain within 2 hours of Boston. AZ and I shot our new Open Screen submission Sunday – I’ll update here once I have a flash version online. UPDATE: here (or below)… |
