Some archival pumpkins footage unearthed this past weekend during the semi-decennial cleaning of the drives. I’m guessing this is from either 2003 or 1953 (based on Z’s haircut). My eyes are completely and permanently screwed from trying to watch a double feature in 1950s 3D. Creature From the Black Lagoon was actually pretty good despite showing the monster entirely too much though It Came From Outer Space made up for it with excess suckitude and double excess Richard Carlson. Though at least he kept his shirt on. On that note, The New 3D Adventures of Zalandra. It works best at full screen with red/blue glasses and a strong drink or four. Blue goes on the left. Soundtrack is by no one as there is no soundtrack. A revisitation as I’ve finally hacked myself some access to the core state secrets of Mothra Variety Hour. Z-monk was in town (town being loosely defined) for gluttonious and familial reasons, roughly corresponding to re-re-arrival of KPH. Drove down to say hi – leading to Zalandra of Sherwood Island, the brief sequel of The Last of the Mythological Commotion. This is not my work, but I do co-star in it so feel justified in putting it up. There’s also a bit of audio of me in there too. Vanity is my singular flaw. |
